Description

• Lead the Platform Team in designing and creating the services, data, capabilities, and infrastructure required to bring BetterUp's services to everyone • Work with the Platform Engineering leadership team to shape and drive the platform strategy and roadmap, and drive alignment throughout the organization • Manage a highly technical, cross-functional team, and build trust and influence across the organization to enable focus on high leverage work • Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on key metrics for the business, and manage and grow world-class talent • Tactically, focus on projects such as extracting microservices, launching a data catalog, reducing deploy time, and up-leveling monitoring and observability, all in service of broader business goals

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Management • 5+ years of experience managing group and technical product managers • Experience in a technical/engineer role and comfortable discussing engineering systems in detail • Practical experience with data platforms, micro-services, and infrastructure • Proven track record of driving results via horizontal leadership • Systems thinker with an ability to digest highly complex, ambiguous dynamics into simple options and path forward • Inspiring people leader who can motivate and set a healthy pace for the team and isn't afraid to get into the details when they need to • Experience operating in a fast pace startup • Strong preference for someone located on the East coast
