Description

Bitdefender, a cybersecurity leader delivering best-in-class threat prevention, detection, and response solutions worldwide, is looking for a Frontend Development Engineer to join our Threat Intelligence team. You will have the chance to develop a young product from an early stage to a world-class customer facing portal for Bitdefender Threat Intelligence. We are looking for a creative-minded person who is passionate about technology. This will help you get up to speed fast with our ecosystem and successfully surpass challenges. We’re looking for a person with initiative, who is eager to solve problems ranging from straightforward and well known to more complex and open-ended. Key Responsibilities: Active participation in each phase of development: design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software; Contribute with your experience to the overall solution architecture; Ensure that the quality of the developed software permanently meets our high demands on quality by applying clean code practices; Collaborate closely with UX designers and Product Managers to shape the overall product experience; Take responsibility for technical problem solving; Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and staying up-to-date with modern technologies;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; • At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications; • Experience building rich data-driven web applications by consuming RESTful services and APIs; • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and experience writing cross-browser compatible code; • Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, React.js, etc.); • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Karma, Protractor, etc.); • The ability to switch between different technologies and stacks; • Excellent sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience; • Have very good interpersonal and communication skills and love to be part of a team.
