📋 Description

• Act as the liaison between customers and QNX R&D, Engineering Services, and Product Management • Provide technical expertise on QNX solutions in pre-sales and post-sales capacities • Support the sales team with technical and consultative activities, including customer design requirement analysis and feasibility/scope assessments • Manage customer technical requirements from development through commercial release • Build and maintain customer technical relationships to encourage new development projects and upgrades • Deliver pre-sales software development work, including demos, benchmarking, high-level design assistance, and initial environment setup • Participate in select customer-specific development when required • Prepare and present technical materials to customers on-site or virtually • Represent QNX at regional trade shows, speaking engagements, webinars, and customer events • Develop and maintain a technical knowledge base of competitive intelligence • Recommend technical requirements to Marketing and Sales to improve customer experience • Travel to customer sites, approximately 25–30%

🎯 Requirements

• Experience interfacing between customers and engineering in both commercial (sales) and technical capacities • Working experience in software sales, ideally in embedded industries • Software development, design, and architecture experience focused on embedded systems, real-time programming, or similar low-level programming with C, Assembly, or C++ • Experience working in Linux development environments • Industrial, Robotics, or Medical segment vertical market experience • Broad general knowledge of the high-tech and embedded industry • Thorough knowledge and ongoing awareness of current market concepts and practices • General and strategic business management, creative and visionary planning, analysis and decision-making, effective leadership, communications, and customer relations skills • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure customer situations • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar, or equivalent meaningful experience • Familiarity with functional safety standards IEC 61508, ISO 13849, and IEC 62304 is a strong asset • Technical experience with RTOS solutions from providers such as Wind River or Green Hills is an asset but not essential • Willingness to travel 25–30% to customer sites
