Description

• Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines • Develop new data store and data lineage features • Design reusable and scalable data models • Optimize data patterns for speed and scalability • Own data quality, hygiene, security, and compliance requirements • Design and implement datastore telemetry and logging • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders • Be the go-to person for data processes, storage, and analytics project and process needs

Requirements

• 5+ years as a data engineer in a low latency B2C/B2B environment • Extensive experience designing and using noSQL and structured SQL solutions • Strong experience with BigQuery, Firebase, Elastic, Snowflake, or similar managed architecture • Strong experience with Cloud technologies (GCP/AWS) • Experience using Jira as a tracking tool • Experience using Github/Gitlab/Jfrog and similar tools • Strong experience working with team on building & deploying CI/CD pipelines • Have experience with third-party libraries and APIs esp RESTful principles • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle • Experience using testing frameworks and test methodologies • Nice to have: Cybersecurity experience, Data integration, ETL, and Data Science experience, Experience with Kafka, Rudderstack, Redis, Spark, Pandas, ETL and ELT tools
