Description

• Assist with performance instrumentation and observability • Address performance issues • Work with product partners to ensure features are performant • Help product partners understand performance issues • Document and distribute performance best practices • Use quantitative and qualitative methods for decision-making • Work on object-oriented PHP and React • Write JavaScript in ES5 and ES6 • Explore performance issues within JavaScript libraries • Familiar with browser and performance monitoring APIs • Knowledge of browser performance metrics • Optimize browser request and rendering "waterfall" • Experience with data streaming, SQL, Google BigQuery is a plus

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience • Object-oriented PHP experience • React and supporting libraries experience • JavaScript experience in ES5 and ES6 • Familiarity with RUM and synthetic monitoring • Understanding of browser performance metrics • Familiarity with browser request and rendering optimization
