Description

• You’ll be the main link between the business and compliance operations to ensure a robust European regulatory compliance framework is in place. Together with the Global Head of Compliance and Risk Management, you will scale Brex's footprint beyond the United States, starting with the European Union. Your role is to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. You will demonstrate the soundness of our compliance and risk framework by reporting to the board of Brex NL and the regulator. With the European legislative landscape constantly changing, we expect you to guide the organization in anticipating upcoming requirements on the horizon.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance in the financial industry • 3+ years of experience managing internal stakeholders • Experience with interpreting the requirements from DNB (and European regulators) • Knowledge of relevant legislation (AMLD, Wft, PSD2) • Effective communication skills • Cultural sensitivity • An eye for detail • A hands-on approach, concise and straightforward style • A love for collaboration, teamwork and delivering excellence
