Description

• Lead a team of data engineers and architects • Develop, propose, and implement core data engineering frameworks • Provide technical thought leadership to stakeholders • Ensure data platforms are reliable, scalable, and maintainable • Champion security and governance • Manage data infrastructure/cloud cost • Introduce best practices for consistent delivery • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization • Develop partnerships with cross-functional teams • Build state-of-the-art data platforms to support company initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Engineering fields • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing data engineering teams • Ability to develop and execute roadmaps for data platforms • Track record of scaling secure data platforms • Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala • Expertise in large volume data processing • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines • Skilled in building and managing data environments with distributed systems • Experience with BI tools, Analytics, Data Science, and real-time applications • Experience with agile methodologies • Familiarity with video streaming platforms and monetization
