• Develop and implement account specific strategies for assigned regional payer accounts • Serve as the primary point of contact between Eisai and Regional Payer Accounts • Create and maintain access to Eisai’s product portfolio • Achieve defined objectives and goals within assigned regional payer accounts • Build a strong corporate presence with key decision-makers, thought-leaders, and stakeholders • Manage access and policy for Eisai’s products • Negotiate contracts and execute brand strategies • Educate on access at the local level
• Strong large customer relationships • Business acumen • Account knowledge • Contract strategy/negotiation experience across all payer channels • Experience with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid accounts • Four-year college degree or higher • Minimum (10) years of pharmaceutical industry experience • Minimum (2) years in pharmaceutical payer account management roles • Excellent market, account, and customer knowledge • Strong negotiating/influencing skills • Demonstrated cross-functional team leadership skills • Excellent business writing and presentation skills • Proven record of success in managing managed care accounts in both pharmacy and medical benefit environments
