📋 Description

• Ensure the stability of the Microsoft Fabric environment • Monitor and optimize the Microsoft Fabric environment • Identify reports, models and processes with high resource consumption • Diagnose root causes together with the responsible teams • Advise on best practices and ensure efficiency, stability and governance of the analytics platform • Monitor Fabric Capacity Metrics/FUAM daily to prevent and mitigate throttling and performance degradation • Investigate slow or heavy reports and semantic models • Perform reverse engineering to optimize DAX and data structures • Manage the data lifecycle using DevOps, Git and Deployment Pipelines • Audit access and security (RLS/OLS) • Organize workspace topology • Collaborate with report developers from other departments to diagnose slowness, recommend best practices and negotiate refresh windows • Support architectural decisions regarding Lakehouse, Warehouse and semantic models in Direct Lake • Integrate with the existing data ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Power BI/Fabric, preferably in administration and support of Premium or Fabric environments • Mandatory experience with tuning tools such as DAX Studio, Tabular Editor and the use of Performance Analyzer • Hands-on expertise in optimizing DAX • Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema) and data architecture • Experience with version control (Git) • Experience with release flows (Deployment Pipelines) • Experience consuming Power BI REST APIs for governance automation • Nice to have: prior experience with integrations involving Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Azure Databricks • Consultative and diplomatic profile to interact with executives and business areas • Investigative mindset and autonomy in troubleshooting and root cause analysis • Ownership mentality and proactivity to actively monitor logs and anticipate incidents
