📋 Description

• Perform monthly calculations of indirect taxes. • Reconcile tax documents with accounting records and analyze any inconsistencies in tax calculation processes. • Prepare, review, and submit declarations for indirect taxes. • Identify, monitor, and recover overpaid tax credits related to indirect taxes. • Provide tax support to internal departments. • Verify tax documents to ensure the correct application of taxes on payments. • Monitor changes in tax and fiscal legislation and implement necessary adjustments to internal processes. • Participate in projects to improve, standardize, and automate accounting and tax processes. • Cross-check tax information between systems and ancillary tax filings/obligations. • Validate and propose improvements to system functionalities and new products. • Review and authorize payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial deadlines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Law. • Strong knowledge of withholding rules for IRRF, CSLL, PIS and COFINS (including CSRF), ISS, INSS, SPED Fiscal, ancillary tax filings, and tax legislation. • Intermediate Excel skills. • Experience with SAP ERP. • Effective communication skills to interact with various departments. • Ability to audit third-party invoices to ensure service providers applied withholding rates correctly and to prevent improper payments. • Preferred: experience in the insurance sector; active CRC (Regional Accounting Council registration).
