Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica - CCEE is the Brazilian chamber that operates and fosters the wholesale and retail electricity commercialization market. It manages market rules and procedures, price settlement (PLD), financial liquidation, auctions, generation allocation, certification (including I-RECs), market data and analytics, open data platforms, and training through CCEE Academy to support market agents and sector governance. The CCEE acts as a market operator and infrastructure provider to ensure transparency, security of market operations and compliance with regulatory frameworks in Brazil’s electric sector.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical reference for processes, ensuring the correct application of the notification, defense, collection and deliberation procedures, and guiding junior and mid-level analysts in case handling. • Handle complex and sensitive cases, assessing regulatory and institutional risks and relevant precedents. • Prepare and critically review technical reports, deliberation proposals and presentations to the Board, ensuring technical consistency, executive clarity and institutional alignment. • Liaise with partner areas to address critical issues and the systemic impacts of processes. • Evaluate defenses/contests submitted by market agents with a critical, systemic perspective, proposing technical interpretations and follow-up actions. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes and systems, focusing on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, risk reduction and improving the agent experience. • Structure, analyze and interpret indicators and data, transforming information into inputs for decision-making and the strategic direction of the area.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields. • Experience in the Electricity Sector and/or familiarity with the energy market and the institutional role of CCEE (Brazilian Electric Energy Trading Chamber) is desirable. • Proactive profile for process and system improvements, with a critical view on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and institutional impact. • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple management levels. • Solid analytical foundation and ability to interpret norms and regulations, with experience preparing and reviewing texts and presentations in executive language. • Data analysis skills; knowledge of programming languages and BI tools for building and interpreting indicators is a plus. • Postgraduate specialization will be considered an advantage.
