Description
• As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of testing activities, including web testing, API testing, database testing, performance testing, manual testing, automation testing, and more. Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams with functional stakeholders of various levels, Able to control assignments and manage priorities. • Manual Testing: Strong expertise in web application testing, Database and API testing and other manual testing techniques and methodologies. Validate data integrity and functionality through rigorous API testing using Postman, JMeter etc. • Performance Testing: Architect and execute performance tests to assess system scalability and reliability. Identify and rectify performance bottlenecks across web, API etc. • Automation Testing: Should have experience in JAVA. Leverage automation testing tools with expert proficiency (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Continuously enhance automation test suites for optimal efficiency. • Testing Environments: Establish and configure testing environments as necessary. Collaborate synergistically with DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate seamlessly with DevOps teams to ensure the stability of test environments and test runs. • Test Plans, Test Cases and Reports: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases and that align with project requirements. Ensure that test coverage aligns with project deliverables. Ensure good quality project rollouts.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).• A proven track record as a software quality assurance engineer, with a specialization in web, API, database, and performance testing.• Profound proficiency in manual and automation testing methodologies.• Extensive experience with leading automation testing tools and frameworks.• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their harmonious integration with testing processes.• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills in a fast paced agile environment.• Outstanding communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Willing to work 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday
