Description

• Canvas Medical is looking for an ambitious and effective Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in executing complex projects and building scalable software. • The engineer will work on a developer platform used in the practice of medicine. A balance between quality and quick delivery is necessary to avoid technical debt while creating value for customers and users. • Canvas Medical is dedicated to helping each other grow and be their best. • The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and other teams to create cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences. • They will also propose and implement changes to data models, core architecture, and codebase to achieve their objectives. • The engineer should have hands-on experience with both frontend and backend development, with a focus on building consumer grade web applications. • Maintaining customer empathy and a customer-focused engineering mindset are essential. • The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing on their contributions to the product.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in building and maintaining consumer grade web applications with 4+ years experience. • Solid understanding of full-stack web development, including modern frontend frameworks such as React. • Hands-on experience with backend development. • A commitment to the quality of code and rigorous engineering practices. • Strong programming skills, CS fundamentals, and a track record of implementing highly reliable software. • Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Experience in Python, React, GraphQL, Django is a bonus.
