• 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in a fast-paced environment • 3+ years within the consumer goods, lifestyle industry, or digital media • Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy that drives action • Strong understanding of brand voice, with the ability to maintain consistency across all communications, while optimizing by platform and product • Proficiency in SEO principles and best practices • Experience in creating and managing successful editorial operations • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment • Proven track record of creating compelling content for diverse audiences and channels, with a portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples

Benefits

• Develop and execute creative copywriting strategies to promote Caraway’s innovative products across core marketing channels (Paid Social, Email/SMS, Offline, TV, Retail), digital, and packaging • As the first full time in-house copywriter, develop and own internal copywriting processes to optimize quality and efficiency across the organization • Write engaging copy that compellingly communicates the features, benefits, and unique selling points of our products, while maintaining the overall Caraway Home brand voice • Edit and proofread copy for core marketing channels (Paid Social, Email/SMS, Offline, TV, Retail), digital, and packaging to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines and strategy • Partner with the Organic Social team to support proofreading, storyboards, concepting as needed • Monitor and analyze the performance of copy across different marketing channels, using data and insights to inform future, and update current, content strategies and optimizations • Conduct thorough research to stay informed about kitchen and home goods industry trends, competitive landscape, consumer preferences, and copywriting best practices, and leverage insights to inform content strategy and messaging • Collaborate with SEO partners to continuously improve search rankings and increase organic traffic to our website to ensure content is engaging, informative, and relevant to our audience
