📋 Description

• Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations for Certa's India entity, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end and quarter-end close • Ensure Indian statutory and regulatory compliance across GST, TDS, income tax, ROC/MCA filings, transfer pricing, and FEMA/RBI requirements • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants • Manage statutory and internal audits, strengthen internal controls, and maintain accurate Ind AS/Indian GAAP books that reconcile to global reporting • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting for the India entity • Oversee treasury, cash flow, banking relationships, and vendor and contract governance • Automate and improve finance processes and systems • Help build and mentor the India finance team as the company scales • Partner with the global finance team and cross-functional stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in finance and accounting • Experience leading finance operations for an India entity • Experience ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company • Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred or equivalent • Strong grasp of Ind AS/Indian GAAP • Exposure to US GAAP is a plus • Deep knowledge of Indian statutory and tax compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax, transfer pricing, ROC/MCA, and FEMA/RBI regulations • Hands-on experience running month-end close, audits, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll • Strong internal controls experience • Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills • Track record of improving or automating finance processes • Excellent communication and ability to partner with a distributed global finance team and cross-functional stakeholders • Detail-oriented, autonomous, and comfortable building processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
