• Joining the Risk & Compliance team as Head of Ops and Tech Risk • Hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing business challenging the market • Leading a team of senior 2nd line risk colleagues • Defining strategy and roadmap for operational and technology risk team • Engaging with senior stakeholders, tactical operations, product, and technology • Overseeing risk remediation planning, resolution, and monitoring activities • Providing challenge across operational, product, and technology risks • Delivering on management information and reporting • Staying aware of operational, product, technology current affairs
Requirements
• Demonstrable leadership background • Extensive experience in 1st/2nd Line risk leadership in banking/fintech • Understanding of the 3 lines model and its implementation • Experience in leading risk and control activities across multiple operating environments • Deep knowledge in emerging risk topics • Proven track record in building and implementing risk tech • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent problem solving and self-management skills • Prioritization skills to address competing priorities
