Description

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems for the cloud platform • Build scalable features for customers with complex datasets • Write readable code that is easy to test, maintain, and extend • Participate in product discovery sessions to solve real user problems • Mentor and lead team members • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve customer problems • Improve engineering processes for faster iteration and team empowerment

Requirements

• Passion for building and delivering high-quality software • 12+ years of experience building APIs and complex backend systems in the cloud (AWS preferred) • Proven track record of making company-wide impacts • Proficient in Python • Experienced in early or growth stage SaaS startups • Experience managing and manipulating data at scale • Passion for design patterns and pragmatic application in systems • Enjoy working with cross-functional teams • Comfortable working 9-5 Eastern time zone • Strong communication skills
