• Reporting to the VP of Product, as a member of the Product Management team, you operate as a leader setting strategy and direction for your team(s). You’ll work cross functionally to align teams around company goals and partner most often with Engineering and Design to deliver on product launches that grow our market share by delighting our customers! • Lead a customer facing portfolio where you’ll tackle technically complex topics and partner with Engineering and Design to solve customer problems that align with company strategy. • Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area of responsibility. You’ll do customer and market research and build business cases to get buy-in with leadership. • Maintain a clear communication line between Product and Development ensuring that Development fully understands customer requirements and the direction Product has planned in regards to new product development, existing product maintenance or enhancement and feature deprecation • Regularly meet with customers to better understand their needs in general, their Coconut specific friction points, and Coconut specific wants - travel to customers and our head office from time to time (expect travel about once a quarter) • Work with Product Marketing to determine what problems are aligned with the company objectives to solve • 2+ years of product management experience (Bonus points if it’s in SaaS or Banking) • A technical background especially in SaaS companies that are rapidly scaling. Your portfolio will require that you have experience in dealing with complex technical topics potentially ranging from notifications, search, and user permissions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re ready to speak in front of execs or the entire company. • A growth mindset. You’ve got a track record of pursuing professional growth through teaching or mentorship. • Proven project management skills • Proven ability to think strategically and execute tactically • A keen business sense and are able to leverage data to develop and prioritize strategic objectives
