📋 Description

• Build systems powering promotional campaigns, payment processing, and other revenue-critical capabilities • Develop end-to-end solutions from system design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement • Develop scalable backend services and customer- or internal-facing applications supporting core revenue operations • Drive technical design and architecture decisions focused on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance • Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and BizOps to translate business goals into robust technical solutions • Improve observability, resilience, and operational excellence across revenue-critical services • Lead projects from discovery and technical planning through implementation, rollout, and post-launch optimization • Maintain high engineering standards through coding practices, code reviews, testing, documentation, and operational ownership • Mentor engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing • Improve development efficiency, system quality, and platform health through tooling, automation, and architecture

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade backend systems in complex or high-growth environments • Hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications, ideally with React and TypeScript • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, TypeScript, and SQL databases • Experience designing and operating distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and event-driven systems • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements and design through implementation and production support • Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance best practices • Ability to navigate ambiguity, break down complex problems, and drive execution in cross-functional environments • Strong English communication skills • Experience mentoring other engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture • Support the on-call rotation to help the business run 24/7 • Preferred: experience in eCommerce, marketplace, fintech, or other transaction-heavy environments • Preferred: experience with promotions, pricing, incentives, payments, or other revenue-related domains • Preferred: familiarity with orchestration and long-running workflow patterns, including Temporal • Preferred: experience with GraphQL and modern frontend architecture patterns
