Description

• Responding to alerts and validating findings • Escalating security incidents for further investigation and remediation • Supporting incident response investigations • Analyzing logs and alerts • Coordinating with relevant teams for incident handling and response • Using incident response procedures and runbooks • Handling security incident escalations via various tools and communication methods

Requirements

• Knowledge of incident response, system forensics, or related cyber security education • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems • Understanding of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Problem-solving abilities • Ability to learn new technology quickly • Willingness to work on shifts or on-call rotations • Formal education or certifications in relevant topics • Experience working on a security operations team • Familiarity with security tools, enterprise SIEM products • Scripting skills with Python, Perl, Bash, or PowerShell • Experience in digital forensics or threat intelligence
