• Design robust, scalable solutions integrating Cornelis Networks’ platform and fabric management software with Kubernetes • Build and maintain custom Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go • Develop cloud-native orchestration for high-performance fabric services and platform management tools alongside containerized workloads • Develop end-to-end automated validation frameworks to stress-test the product • Extend Kubernetes to manage specialized hardware, scheduling, and networking requirements for HPC and AI workloads • Collaborate with core platform, fabric, and hardware teams on cohesive end-to-end solutions • Contribute to relevant open-source projects in the cloud-native ecosystem • Author technical documentation and champion cloud-native software development best practices • Leverage AI-powered tools for code generation, refactoring, and performance optimization • Apply AI-driven techniques for automated code review, testing, and quality assurance
• 5+ years of professional software development experience • Experience designing and developing Kubernetes solutions, including custom Operators/Controllers using Operator SDK or Kubebuilder • Expert-level proficiency in Go for systems programming • Experience with C++ or Python is valuable • Knowledge of multithreaded programming • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including control plane, CNI networking, and CSI storage interfaces • Hands-on experience with Docker or containerd • Experience integrating existing software platforms or services with Kubernetes • Understanding of high-performance data center networking environments • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field • Experience with HPC or high-performance networking • Familiarity with performance-sensitive, low-latency application environments • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluentd • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and deployment pipelines • Contributions to Kubernetes or cloud-native open-source projects
