📋 Description

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and month-end/year-end close processes • Record and reconcile payroll-related journal entries across multiple countries, including wages, bonuses, commissions, benefits, statutory contributions, garnishments, and severance • Reconcile payroll clearing accounts and resolve discrepancies between the payroll system and general ledger • Ensure accurate accounting for accrued payroll liabilities, including PTO, bonuses, and benefits accruals • Support payroll tax reconciliations and compliance reporting across jurisdictions • Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements • Partner with global HR, Payroll, and local finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM • Maintain internal controls over payroll accounting processes • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation • Identify and implement process improvements across global accounting operations • Manage complex tax withholdings and financial accounting for salary, benefits, tax, severance, and pension • Prepare audit-ready reports for SEC/SOX compliance or investor reviews • Work on automation projects to reduce manual tasks • Coordinate internal and external audits while partnering with FP&A and HR

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to international or multi-entity payroll accounting • Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles • Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, Workiva, and Google Gemini • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliations • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines • Experience with multi-state payroll and international payroll preferred • Familiarity with payroll audits and benefits accounting preferred • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company environment preferred • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across Finance, HR, and Payroll teams • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive compensation and employee data • Process-improvement mindset focused on accuracy and efficiency
