📋 Description

• Drive sales growth and expand Canadian Solar's distribution business throughout Central America and the Caribbean • Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution partners throughout the region • Expand Canadian Solar's presence and market share within existing distribution accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor owners, purchasing teams, sales leadership, and key decision-makers • Create pull-through demand by engaging EPCs, installers, developers, and other channel influencers • Develop territory plans focused on new business acquisition and long-term channel growth • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and territory planning • Monitor competitive activity and provide market intelligence to support business strategy • Represent Canadian Solar at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings throughout the region

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the solar industry • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of developing new business • Strong existing relationships within the solar distribution ecosystem throughout Central America and/or the Caribbean • Experience working with solar distributors and channel partners • Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision • Strong understanding of distribution sales models, territory development, and channel growth strategies • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% throughout the region
