Description

• Source and curate compelling video content from platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook that aligns with our brand's values and mission. • Adapt and format video content into appropriate templates for social media posts to ensure a consistent and visually appealing presence on our platforms. • Conduct thorough research on trending topics, relevant hashtags, and historical facts related to Black culture to inform content creation. • Obtain permissions from original content creators to post their work on our platforms.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Marketing, Communications, or a related field or has a track record of creating a social media page (preferred but not required). • Strong interest in and understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. • Excellent research skills and the ability to identify trending topics and relevant historical facts. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Creative thinking and the ability to contribute fresh ideas to content creation. • Passion for celebrating Black history and culture.
