• Perform service, repair and/or installation of products and IT solutions at customer sites • Diagnose system failures and determine the most cost‑effective solution • Escalate complex issues to higher‑level technical support • Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory • Install, maintain and repair digital pathology devices • Handle service administration and customer communications; act as a competent point of contact for customers • Collaborate with and support sales on all technical matters • Participate in trade fairs and exhibitions • Achieve revenue and KPI targets • Contribute to team objectives • Timely escalate issues and maintain customer relationships • Provide feedback to manufacturers to help improve product reliability • Submit service reports and travel expense claims promptly
• Completed technical training, preferably in electrical engineering, mechatronics or medical technology • Initial experience in a service role • Experience in field service or a related area, preferably with medical devices • Knowledge of and practical experience with standard software (MS Office, SAP) • Knowledge of IT networking, electronics and precision mechanics • Experience with network configuration and setup • Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtual machines and SQL • Knowledge of integration solutions for digital pathology and software installations is an advantage • Proven ability to independently acquire technical knowledge • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 kg • Class B driving license • Ability to quickly analyze complex systems • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently • Confident and professional customer-facing manner • Very good German language skills, spoken and written • Very good English language skills, spoken and written
