Description
• Responsible for overall health of multiple applications and operating environments • Interact with development team to design and deliver applications with high availability and stability • Analyze and understand problems, delegate to relevant parties • Apply cloud and CI/CD skills to define standards and processes for development and deployment • Suggest innovative solutions and carry out proof of concepts • Incorporate new technologies into product and service design for seamless experiences
Requirements
• BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience • 1+ years experience in DevOps Engineer or SRE role • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments such as Ubuntu and/or RHEL • Understanding of large scale distributed systems and microservices architecture • Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.) • Experience with shell tools (vim, tmux, git, telnet, etc.) • Programming and scripting skills (Shell, python, java, or nodejs) • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD automation systems • Proficiency with Git and Git branching models • Nice to have: Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, or Oracle Cloud • Nice to have: Experience with Ansible or similar IaC technologies • Nice to have: Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka • Nice to have: Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL data stores such as ElasticSearch, Postgres, Scylladb • Nice to have: Knowledge of load balancers such as nginx, haproxy, F5 etc.
