Description

• Serve as the client-facing lead for multiple workstreams managing tasks like overall project timeline, communications plan, outreach strategy, written and design materials, and leadership messaging • Collaborate with and oversee a team of content developers and editors to support execution of tasks • Experience managing communications projects with federal agencies • Ability to lead federal projects, strategic planning, delivery, client and team management, and directing communication • Coordinate junior and mid-level staff to develop a wide array of communications materials • Master the voice and tone of different audiences and develop targeted strategies • Work with senior-level clients fostering a trusted partnership • Strong written and editorial skills with attention to detail and organization • Passion for people management and staff development

Requirements

• Experience managing a communications project with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) or other federal agency • Ability to lead and direct federal projects • Experience coordinating junior and mid-level staff in developing various communications materials • Ability to master the voice and tone of different audiences • Proven ability to work with senior-level clients • Strong written and editorial skills • Passion for people management and staff development • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
