Description

• We are looking for someone with a strong background in data engineering who is passionate about accelerating data-driven decision making throughout the company. • As Senior Data Engineer, you will be working with internal teams to understand their data needs and provide the data platform that helps their day-to-day decisions.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background • Proficiency in a programming language used in data engineering such as Python • Experience and interest in data collection, ETL, analysis, and visualization • Advanced understanding of SQL • Knowledge of data warehousing technologies and experience with platforms such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery • Ability to deeply understand teams (Business, Engineering, and Operations) objectives and translate them into effective data engineering solutions • Proficiency in a programming language used in data engineering such as Python • Experience in developing and operating web services • Experience with Looker/LookML • Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS or GCP • Experience with database design and performance tuning
