Description
• As a member of Global Services, responsible for software development from specification to launch • Write PHP code to a high standard in a timely and scalable way • Participate in company-wide knowledge-sharing efforts • Apply best practices and design patterns • Participate in technical design and code reviews • Write testable, well-designed, efficient code • Execute full lifecycle software development with focus on security, quality, knowledge sharing • Mentor and guide junior developers reporting to engineering team lead
Requirements
• 3+ years of strong programming skills in PHP OOP • Strong knowledge of Laravel framework (experience with latest versions of Laravel framework (> 7), ideally 9 and 10) • Experienced in building REST APIs • Excellent knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns • Experience in building integrations using third-party APIs • Excellent knowledge of MySQL • Experience in Vue.js • Experience with using DB transactions and modeling database schema • Experience with code versioning tools like Git • Familiarity with Docker or Laravel Sail • Familiarity with GraphQL (we use Laravel Lighthouse) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Nice to have: Experience with Inertia.js, Familiarity with Laravel actions, Experience with the hosting industry
