Description
• Design and develop technical solutions to find and address security issues (including libraries and frameworks). • Build tools for self-service, automation, and performance to identify and mitigate application security flaws. • Provide security reviews from architectural design to code level assessments. • Review development frameworks for security functionality. • Dive into new projects for security guidance and technical security control. • Discover weaknesses in Discord through manual and automated methods.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience securing production applications. • 5+ years experience with application security tooling and processes. • 5+ years programming in a general purpose language. • Experience leading security projects. • Expertise with application vulnerabilities. • Implementing and using application security tools. • Operating in cloud-based environments. • Reasoning about security of complex systems. • Experienced with Threat Modeling and complex designs.
Benefits
• US base salary range of $223,000 to $245,500 + equity + benefits. • Compensation based on job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
