Description

• Maintain and operate DNSFilter edge devices • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to IX transits and eBGP • Optimize AnyCast network BGP peerings to lower latency • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain linux operating systems and applications using Ansible • Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal system performance and scalability • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely and efficient manner • Implement and enforce security implementations to protect systems and data • Set and enforce high standards of observability and IaC • Be part of our on-call rotation to ensure 99.999% availability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with highly scalable applications • 3+ years experience with managing and deploying IaC via Ansible • Proficiency following best security practices for OnPrem resources • 2+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on IX transits and eBGP • 2+ years of experience with DNS • 2+ years of proficiency working and managing low latency networks • Has successfully used monitoring tools to observe network metrics for on-prem resources • Experience working remotely • Linux OS
