📋 Description

• Build and maintain deep CRM and mass-data-sync integrations as products • Maintain integrations as Donorbox and third-party systems change • Transfer records accurately and safely between systems, including deduplication, partial-failure handling, and resumable runs • Build monitoring, error reporting, and logging for diagnosable integration failures • Model data and design public APIs and webhooks, including naming, pagination, and error semantics • Analyze requirements through a Jobs-to-be-Done lens and challenge requirements that do not match real user needs • Bring feasibility and engineering cost into prioritization • Review pull requests as a teaching tool • Support agents with technical questions during shifts and treat escalations as product signals • Maintain accurate developer-facing and internal documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency building and consuming REST APIs, with opinions about versioning, pagination, and error semantics • Experience integrating with systems you don't control, including rate limits, partial failures, retries, idempotency, and webhook delivery • Experience moving data between systems with mismatched models, including deduplication, record mapping, and reconciliation • Ability to design data models and Rails objects for medium-sized features • SQL proficiency for non-trivial operational and bulk queries • Ability to read a PostgreSQL EXPLAIN • Habit of writing behavior-focused tests that survive refactors • Experience with Minitest • Track record of independently driving ambiguous problems to completion without detailed specifications • Honest assessment of trade-offs and realistic delivery commitments • Willingness to unblock peers and optimize for team throughput • Experience or proficiency with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Vanilla JavaScript, Hotwire, Semantic HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, relational databases, REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, Minitest, fixtures, MVC, and object-oriented programming
