Description

• Monitor all information security tools and systems for unusual and unauthorized activity • Maintain and manage security systems • Ensure security principles are maintained and adhered to by all employees • Investigate and report security-related incidents • Manage reported vulnerabilities through remediation and maintenance • Communicate with various teams for remediation • Assist in incident management and response • Oversee and conduct root cause analysis • Develop and optimize processes to improve security threat identification • Assist developers in secure coding practices • Monitor and maintain network configurations • Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing • Provide security, technical, and architecture support • Perform day-to-day operational tasks as assigned • Conduct daily security event checks • Analyze phishing attacks and review DLP alerts • Support onboarding and offboarding processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT security or related field • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in information security • Experience with vulnerability management tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems • Knowledge of information systems security principles and methods • Familiarity with industry standards such as PCI, ISO 27001, HiTrust, GDPR • Strong technical ability • Experience in conducting information security risk assessments • Experience with security monitoring tools (DLP, SIEM, Web Gateway) • Exposure to cybersecurity or SOC monitoring • Understanding of NIST and ISO 27000 frameworks • Familiarity with Microsoft Security best practices • Knowledge of risk and compliance • Understanding of business process analytics • Project management skills • Willingness to work after hours and weekends • Availability for urgent escalations
