📋 Description

• Develop, define, implement, and regularly review Cluster category sourcing strategies and processes • Manage supplier relationships, quality, and other procurement processes across relevant geographies or clients • Lead and develop a Cluster Sourcing Team of 2 direct reports • Measure and report team performance and delivery • Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels • Own supplier relationships for key suppliers based on supplier/spend segmentation • Identify continuous improvement and step-change opportunities for product and service specifications • Run value delivery projects and competitive sourcing processes • Deliver measurable cost savings through supplier negotiation, improved total-cost-of-ownership initiatives, and commercial strategies • Support client-facing teams in maximising gross profit margins through knowledge of client contractual agreements • Ensure supplier contractual compliance, including financials, SLAs, and KPIs • Monitor supplier technology developments and innovation and assess impacts on sourcing strategy • Ensure data is auditable and evaluate benchmarks and savings in line with commercial strategy • Support commercial, growth, supply chain, and subject-matter-expertise objectives • Review supply interruption risks and take action to mitigate or manage them • Help develop category plans and strategies within the global Procurement team • Negotiate favourable contract terms independently and with Global Procurement, Finance, and Legal

🎯 Requirements

• Experience of direct management and leadership of a team • Experience leading a team through transformation to success preferred/implied as advantageous • Comfortable managing a multimillion, multi-country spend portfolio • Experience in direct or indirect sourcing and procurement operations • Understanding of the supplier landscape for the European region • Recent achievements in TCO/total cost ownership initiatives • Experience driving commercial value for categories through leveraging a significant spend portfolio • Successful competitive vendor management experience • Ability to travel regularly to existing suppliers • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Global Procurement and Finance/Legal • Ability to negotiate favourable contract terms • Packaging category sourcing, supplier management, quality, and procurement process knowledge • Knowledge of contractual terms, financials, SLAs, and KPIs • Knowledge of technology developments and innovation in the supplier base • Ability to ensure data is auditable and evaluate benchmarks and savings • Ability to assess and mitigate supply interruption risks
