Description

• An Effectual Senior Data Architect is an individual who specializes in designing, implementing, and managing complex data streaming architectures using Apache Kafka and Confluent technologies. • A Senior Data Architect has an extensive understanding of data and its intricacies, combined with robust marketing and analytical abilities. Additionally, you must possess a firm grasp of statistics, applied mathematics, as well as expertise in security and governance. The Confluent Kafka architect role involves tasks such as: Solution Design; Component Selection; Scalability & Performance; Integration; Security & Compliance; Troubleshooting and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field • 8+ years hands-on design and implementation experience in data architecture landscape, including migrating legacy platform to big data platform. • 5+ years of experience in designing and building SQL, no-SQL, big data, GraphDB, APIs, Kafka, and streaming solutions. • 3+ years of experience in several of the following technical disciplines: application development, middleware, database management or operations, Kafka, Confluent, security integration. • Proficient in defining current and future state Data Architectures. • In depth knowledge of AWS platform • Experience migrating on-prem applications to cloud using Refactoring, Rearchitecting and Re-platforming approach including 12 factor app approach. • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, data warehousing concepts, and database management systems. • Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using relational databases and NoSQL databases. • Experience with data integration technologies such as ETL/ELT tools and data integration patterns • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data-related services (S3, Redshift, BigQuery). • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data security best practices. • Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka and/or Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka certification • 3+ years in experience in professional services / consulting • Sales engineering, sales solutioning and Client RFP response experience preferred.
