• The Strategy and Business Analyst will help build out Empower Mexico’s analytical capabilities, business planning, and share strategic recommendations and data-based insights for products and programs critical to Empower Mexico’s growth, customer acquisition, and customer retention. You will partner closely with our leadership team to develop and present insights. Your insights will build the foundation for Empower Mexico’s scaled success as we scale the current product and bring new products to market. You will work as part of a small cross-functional remote team within the company that is exclusively dedicated to the Mexico operation. This role will allow you to wear multiple hats, making meaningful impact across diverse tasks. You will be working closely with Empower Mexico’s Business Lead and will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple areas of the business, including finance, operations, credit, compliance, and product development. Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum 2 times a year.

Requirements

• Fluent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English • Work authorization in Mexico or in the US • Motivated by Empower’s mission and determined to create a personable and meaningful experience for our customers • Minimum of 2+ years work experience in business, strategy, operations, management consulting and/or investment banking • Strong analytical abilities and are comfortable defining and measuring goals consistently • Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs • A get-it-done mindset; you’re resourceful and happy to be hands on and in the weeds • An interest in addressing complicated and impactful product & business problems up your sleeves and building complex financial models in Excel or similar tools. • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities; enjoy rolling up your sleeves and building complex models in Excel or similar tools • Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience in SQL and/or Tableau (a strong plus)
