Description

• Build server-side Java components and web services for user experience and geospatial workflows • Prototype, design, develop, and deliver software features that are scalable and fault-tolerant • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance ArcGIS Video and Mission products • Apply cloud native principles to design software architecture • Find, analyze, and fix bugs and performance problems • Enhance product capability from feature inception to delivery using cutting-edge technology

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing middleware software components using core Java, Servlets, JAX-RS, Cloud computing • Experience developing RESTful web services • Good understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Azure, Kubernetes • Knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite • Experience working with large code bases • Proficient in debugging and profiling tools like IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, JProfiler, JMeter • Excellent problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills • Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills • Bachelor's in computer science or related field, depending on position level • Knowledge of Java build systems like Gradle and Maven • Experience with HTTP monitoring tools: Burp Suite, Fiddler, Wire Shark • Knowledge of Docker containers and orchestrators such as Kubernetes
