📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain systems, APIs, and services used in Finnet’s solutions • Develop applications using Python, Node.js, and Java • Develop and maintain REST APIs and system integrations • Work with distributed architectures, service-to-service communication, and messaging • Investigate incidents, analyze logs, and diagnose issues in applications, integrations, and databases • Identify root causes and propose permanent solutions • Participate in defining and evolving solution architectures • Apply Clean Code, Design Patterns, and software architecture principles • Implement retry, timeout, circuit breaker, and fallback mechanisms, including Resilience4j • Create and maintain unit and integration tests • Work with relational databases and SQL queries • Support database troubleshooting and performance analysis • Use Azure DevOps, version control, pull requests, pipelines, and CI/CD • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions • Assess solution impacts, risks, and effort • Monitor production applications and resolve incidents • Collaborate with development, product, quality, infrastructure, security, and other teams • Share knowledge and contribute to the team’s technical growth • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing systems and solid software engineering fundamentals • Experience with or knowledge of Node.js, Java, and/or Python • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs • System integration experience • Knowledge of distributed architectures and microservices • Knowledge of messaging and asynchronous processing • Experience with relational databases and SQL • Experience analyzing and diagnosing database issues • Experience with unit and integration testing • Git and version control • Azure DevOps • CI/CD pipelines • Design Patterns and development best practices • Resilience patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Retry, Timeout, and Fallback • Knowledge of application and API security concepts • Application troubleshooting and log analysis • Technical curiosity, initiative, analytical ability, and critical thinking • Strong communication and collaborative working skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to prioritize and a strong sense of urgency • Ability to assess impact, risk, and complexity • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with diverse technologies • Preferred: experience with financial systems, banking, payment methods, collections, or reconciliation • Preferred: experience handling high transaction volumes and integrations • Preferred: Docker, AWS and/or Azure, observability, monitoring, API security, and legacy application modernization
