Description

• Join Platform team as a Senior, Lead or Principal engineer • Participate in building and maintaining FishingBooker platform and services • Work in six-week development cycles with two-week planning breaks • Focus on optimizing site speed and performance, system stability, and setting security standards • Manage backend infrastructure for product teams and enhance development processes • Define, validate, and evolve coding, testing, and deployment practices • Collaborate on technical design and code review sessions • Handle cloud infrastructure and deployment, monitoring, and reliability methods

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in backend web application development • Advanced knowledge of one or more server-side programming languages, preferably PHP • Ability to design and implement highly scalable and performant backend systems • Proficiency in designing and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Experience with database concepts and SQL/NoSQL databases • Familiarity with web server technologies, cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and backend system security principles • Engineering degree or relevant experience
