• Lead the ongoing management and change delivery of Future Group’s accumulation and retirement product suite • Oversee product performance and reporting, competitor benchmarking, APRA reporting, member outcomes assessments, and DDO and TMD obligations • Provide the Head of Product and senior stakeholders with insight into product performance, market movements and required actions • Develop robust business cases and lead approved product initiatives from business case through implementation • Coordinate Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk, Finance and Disclosure teams to deliver commercially sound, operationally achievable and compliant changes • Keep members front of mind throughout product change delivery • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers • Set priorities and build capability across product management and change delivery • Advise on product design, lifecycle decisions, regulatory obligations and delivery risks
• 7+ years’ experience in financial services • Meaningful experience in superannuation product management across accumulation and retirement • Substantive experience spanning insurance, investments and retirement product management • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end product change in a regulated environment, from business case through implementation • Strong working knowledge of the Australian superannuation regulatory environment, including APRA and ASIC obligations, DDO and SPS 515 • Ability to develop clear, commercially sound business cases and product documentation for executive or trustee decision-making • Experience leading or managing a small team • Clear communication of complex product and regulatory concepts to different audiences • Sound judgement, commercial awareness and a structured approach to product governance, documentation and delivery • RG 146 compliant or equivalent (described alongside a desirable bachelor’s degree) • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Law or a related discipline is desirable, not required • Nice-to-have: APRA product reporting and regulatory returns; SPS 515 member outcomes assessments; DDO obligations including TMD preparation and review; competitor benchmarking; APRA heatmaps; Your Future Your Super performance test; PDS, SEN and TMD disclosure documentation; Successor Fund Transfers; trustee transition programs; executive and trustee governance forums • Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or Finance qualification, or professional certification such as CA, CPA or FINSIA is a nice-to-have, not essential • Alignment with Future Group’s mission and passion for moving Australia’s money from fossil fuels into renewable energy
