• Prima Games is looking for talented and ambitious writers who have a deep understanding of popular indie games • Contract position that is fully remote and for applicants based outside of the United States • Write high-quality game guides for popular indie titles • Chance to write about other video games as well • Work in an international newsroom with supportive colleagues • Focus on new and popular indie game releases • Knowledge of specific indie games required: Vampire Survivors, Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, Dave the Diver, and others • Write a minimum of 25 stories per month • Familiarity with Google Trends, Trello, and WordPress preferred • Past experience with SEO content is a plus • Weekend availability required • Pay range: $11 to $60 USD per article

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of indie games and the video game industry • Fluency in English and excellent writing skills • Must be a self-starter with good communication habits • Deep knowledge of at least one of the specified games • Must provide a resume, cover letter, and at least two relevant writing clips • Knowledge of indie games and experience writing guides • Preferred: Familiarity with Google Trends, Trello, and WordPress • 1-2+ years of writing experience • Weekend availability • Submit cover letter and clips
