Description

• Develop and enhance software systems that interact with complex data sets from DeFi protocols and blockchain networks, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and reliability. • Architect and refine data models and structures to support the evolving needs of DeFi analytics, simulations, methodologies, and research development. • Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment, with a keen eye on data-centric applications. • Employ advanced software engineering practices to ensure code quality, system security, and performance in data-intensive environments. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable improvements and features within our platform. • Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and methodologies that can drive innovation in DeFi data analysis and data/ml engineering. • Spearhead the documentation and dissemination of technical knowledge within the team and the wider DeFi community.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years in software engineering, with significant exposure to data-intensive applications. • Proficiency in Python, Rust and SQL, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles. • Experience with OLAP databases (e.g., BigQuery) and familiarity with data transformation tools (e.g., DBT). • Knowledge of workflow orchestration (e.g., Dagster) and distributed data processing technologies (e.g. Spark). • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team setting. • Passion for DeFi and the broader crypto ecosystem, with a willingness to immerse oneself in the space. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment
