Description

• The Coach Crew team is creating new, innovative features that enhance our already beloved baseball and softball experience, aiming for an easier gameday experience for coaches, allowing them to focus on the game while GameChanger does the rest. As a Senior iOS Software Engineer, you will use modern tools to develop features in our native iOS application and across the stack. You will build engaging user-facing features by contributing your expertise, writing code, and making architectural decisions on a team of Product Managers, Designers, QA Analysts, and Engineers. You will report to one of our Product Engineering Managers.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals. • Experience leading successful iOS projects. • Experience shipping beautiful, high-quality apps. • Participate in regular design and code reviews with development team members to confirm use of best practices. • Understand and evaluate new technologies, develop skills in new technologies. • Passion and experienced working with the latest iOS tech. • Comfort working in a cross-functional product team. • Experience mentoring engineers and organizing work within a team. • Our apps are written in Swift and have a Reactive architecture using technologies like RxSwift, SwiftUI, Realm, and Swift Composable Architecture (TCA). • Your team will also do Android development in Kotlin, so having background there would be a bonus, but is not required. • Our backend APIs are built with TypeScript, Node.js, Redis, Kafka, and PostgreSQL and run in AWS. It's not required that you know these, but being able to work closely with the backend engineers on your team by understanding these technologies is a bonus.
