📋 Description

• Lead and inspire a team of content creators, designers, reviewers and production specialists • Manage team performance against productivity and quality metrics; provide feedback and coaching; conduct performance reviews; address performance concerns • Recruit, onboard and train new team members • Own operational delivery of the content roadmap by translating strategy into project plans, milestones, deliverables and priorities • Communicate delivery progress, blockers and risks to the Content Leadership team • Lead resource planning and forecasting across the team • Use Google Sheets and project management tools such as JIRA to plan, track and manage workflows, deadlines and the project database • Use data to track, forecast and analyse educational-material planning and production and inform prioritisation and roadmap feasibility • Maintain accurate and trustworthy operational data, systems, trackers and metrics • Uphold content quality and ensure output meets briefs, deadlines, editorial standards and brand guidelines • Collaborate with Content Leads to improve processes and efficiency • Support responsible AI integration across the content lifecycle • Bring education to life through high-quality, curriculum-aligned courses for students and teachers across Australia and international markets

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team, including managing workload, setting goals, running team meetings and 1:1s, and giving constructive feedback • Accountability for team outcomes and performance • Track record of owning operational delivery, managing projects, plans, metrics and resources • Resource planning and forecasting experience • Strong decision-making skills for conflicting priorities and early risk escalation • Strong critical-thinking and complex problem-solving skills • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy with multi-step processes and systems • Proficient in Google Sheets or equivalent; comfortable manipulating data and identifying trends • Ability to inspire and motivate team members • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Australian working rights required • Bonus: experience in or alongside a content or editorial function • Bonus: experience experimenting with AI in work and a perspective on its usefulness
