Description

• Platform Engineers design, build, and maintain core infrastructure supporting various software applications and services • Collaborating across diverse teams, including software developers, data engineers, IT operations, and network engineers • Constructing and deploying servers, databases, and networks using advanced technologies • Monitoring and troubleshooting issues • Contributing to capacity planning, security assessments, and disaster recovery • Staying updated on industry trends • Proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and collaboration is key to success in this role

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in software development, systems administration, or infrastructure management • Proficiency in a programming language like Python, Java, or Go • Experience with scripting languages like Bash • Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure environment • Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions or GitLab CI • Proficiency in infrastructure automation and deployment tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis, CDK, Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab • Knowledge of data warehousing/lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, as well as automation tools like ArgoCD or Flux • Knowledge of operating systems like Linux
