Description

• Senior Back End Developers champion the principles of DevOps and the values of an open source community • Comprehensive test suites using PHPUnit, Cypress, and k6 load testing • Branch-level API previews orchestrated through Ansible and Terraform • Bi-directional OpenAPIs built with a Documentation-as-Code philosophy • Goal to build and scale real-time interactions between patients and doctors • Technical and leadership skills development in a scaling environment • Creative thinking and problem-solving to design a leading virtual healthcare platform • Proficiency in PHP/Laravel and back-end best practices • Object-Oriented Programming expertise • Mentoring and collaboration with fellow developers • Effective communication and problem-solving within cross-functional teams • Key role in delivering successful user-facing products

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with PHP/Laravel • Strong understanding of the principles of DevOps • Ability to implement automation solutions • Familiarity with automation tools • Experience with comprehensive test suites including PHPUnit, Cypress, and k6 load testing • Design and execution of effective testing strategies • Hands-on experience with infrastructure orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform) • Knowledge of branch-level API previews and their orchestration • Developing and maintaining bi-directional OpenAPIs • Familiarity with Documentation-as-Code philosophy • Experience ensuring platform reliability and scalability • Knowledge of real-time communication technologies and architectures • Comfortable in a scaling environment • Ability to think creatively and solve complex challenges • Previous experience in healthcare platforms (asset) • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment • Strong communication, collaboration, and continuous learning skills
