Description

• As the Senior Full Stack Engineer, Localization, you will design and build localization solutions, pipelines and capabilities that are in alignment with the future of automation, internationalization and localization tooling. You will also lead the development of AI capabilities to power localization workflows, and play a critical role in integrating localizability and internationalization disciplines into GitLab’s growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong technical skills and an ability to work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure management code • Experience with Ruby on Rails given GitLab’s current tech stack • Experience with Python, Go, and Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework • Some Java experience is nice to have • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions • Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution • Professional experience building web applications and APIs • Hands-on experience working with large language models and AI toolkits • Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills • Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization • Contributions to GitLab are highly regarded
