Description

• Seeking a skilled and passionate Distributed Systems Test Engineer • Crucial role in ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of distributed systems • Responsibilities include automating comprehensive test plans and resolving complex issues • Validate functionality of distributed systems • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and POSIX-like systems • Create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks • Integration of automated tests into CI pipelines • Solid experience with systems programming languages like Rust, Nim, Go • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and POSIX-like systems • Experience with scripting languages like Python • Excellent written and conversational communication skills • Alignment with core values and principles • Bonus points for experience in off-the-shelf networking stacks such as libp2p, blockchain technology, working for an open-source organization, and desktop UI automation

Requirements

• Solid experience with systems programming languages like Rust, Nim, Go • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and POSIX-like systems • Experience with scripting languages like Python • Knowledge of tests automation tools, best practices, and design patterns • Excellent written and conversational communication skills • Alignment with core values and principles • Bonus points for experience in off-the-shelf networking stacks such as libp2p, blockchain technology, working for an open-source organization, and desktop UI automation • Hiring process includes interviews with POps team, Vac QA team, Vac team lead, and a take-home assignment
