Description

• Come be a part of the emerging and growing IoT Platform at Motive • Responsible for ingesting all data to and from the devices in a scalable, secure and efficient fashion • Reporting to the Engineering Manager of the IoT platform team to build new and refactor existing services to connect the fleet of devices to the cloud platform • Initial projects could include building and scaling messaging pipelines, improving reliability, security, and observability of AWS Lambdas and K8s Services

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing software products and services in a team environment with source control, build management, and automated deployment practices • Mastery of programming/coding practices (Golang and/or Ruby on Rails preferred) with debugging and problem-solving skills • Deep understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment • Experience with messaging pipelines like Kafka • Desire to mentor and grow engineers of all levels • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
