📋 Description

• Manage and develop backend and frontend engineers through feedback and career conversations • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to support customers and prospects through their Observability collection journey • Partner with product and engineering leadership to integrate Fleet Management, the Kubernetes Helm Chart, and the Instrumentation Hub into Grafana Cloud’s end-to-end user experience • Guide projects from ideation through planning, execution, and post-launch • Foster psychological safety, innovation, learning, and continuous improvement • Contribute across team boundaries and partner with other functions to solve customer problems

🎯 Requirements

• Strong advantage: experience in Observability, especially OpenTelemetry, or building a central control plane managing fleets of collectors • Comfortable working with highly autonomous engineering teams • Current understanding of technical trends and engineering challenges • Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures in a fully remote environment • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, align stakeholders, and elevate team performance • Deep customer focus • Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, including scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, and observability • Comfortable using AI-assisted tooling; practical experience integrating AI-powered tools into a team’s workflow is ideal • Ability to work remotely from Germany, Sweden, Spain, Ireland, or the UK
